Saadiyat island is a big development project in Abu Dhabi that will include, among other things, the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum (the opening date has been pushed back to 2015).
We visited the exposition about the project (on the island itself), and passed through the Yas Island on which the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix takes place (Yas Marina Circuit).
The Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world (in total area).
It has the world largest aquarium (with associated zoo) which is impressive in size as well as the variety and density of fishes inside of it.
Well Burj Khalifa is probably one of Dubai’s most recognized landmark, and you can not escape taking pictures of it (and having pictures of you taken with it in the background), at least we didn’t.
Met with some friends (and former colleagues): one of them just moved in and was nice enough to invite us to sleep over (in exchange for not publishing photos of him with dogs… long story) , and attend his house-warming party.
